The symptoms of PMDD start a week or two before a woman gets her period, and may
last up to a few days after her period starts.
If you have PMDD, you may:
Feel angry, tense, or tired
Cry easily, or feel sad or hopeless
Argue with friends or family for no reason
Have trouble sleeping or paying attention
Feel "out of control" or unable to cope
Have cramping, bloating, food cravings, or breast tenderness
